Spotlight on… Jujulee

It’s been a few months since I last featured laser cut jewellery, so I think I’m allowed to show you some more! This time it is Etsy seller jujulee’s turn. My absolute favourite pieces are the”diamond” rings. Very cute and inexpensive!

Spotlight on… None of the Above, plus a new idea in progress

Last week I received a little parcel from Canada, and I eagerly opened it… Look what I got!

The colours and textures are gorgeous- just look at the detail!

They are made by None of the Above on Etsy and I envy her patience and polymer clay skill! She’s got quite a successful shop (and rightfully so), and I’m now worried that the items I sent her in a swap won’t be up to her expectations…

Here’s some more of my favourites from her shop- check them out!

In other news, I am working on making my collection of Christmas cards this week and also I had a brainwave. I decided to make resin friendship heart pendants. I make the resin fabric hearts as normal, then each one is individually cut before findings will be added. I haven’t sanded this one yet as I was eager to get the saw out first, plus I plan to sand then cut in the future, but you get the idea :)

I hope to have some in my shops soon for potential Christmas pressies!

Spotlight on… Cherish Me

I saw these brooches whilst browsing through Folksy from http://cherishme.folksy.com and this girl share my love of Liberty fabric! I particularly like the animals and her packaging is pretty and sophisticated too!

Spotlight on… Corrina Smith

I spotted one of Corrina’s (http://corrinasmith.folksy.com) necklaces on the front page of Folksy today and went to explore her shop more. Her work uses mainly silver, both silver clay and sterling, and is well thought out and beautifully put together.

Spotlight on… Akka Design

I discovered a relatively new Etsy shop in a treasury the other day and I like :) Akka Design (http://akkadesign.etsy.com) is relatively local, based in Dublin. I love all of the colours!

Spotlight on… Beautiful Skin

These are gorgeous leather accessories from http://tovicorrie.folksy.com aka Beautiful Skin and have a hint of tattoo style as well as vintage in their design. The graphics are printed directly onto the leather and are original works of art by the shop owner. Here’s some of my favourite cuffs, but there’s other stuff too…

Spotlight on… Carol’s Crafts

I was flicking through the new sellers section on Folksy and found lots of lovely polymer clay items, and then discovered they were by the same person! Carol’s shop (http://carolscrafts.folksy.com) features polymer clay buttons, brooches and jewellery, as well as some lovely bracelets that use glass beads in their construction too. Here are some of my favourites:

Spotlight on… Marmalade

I discovered this relatively new shop on the homepage of Etsy today. Everything at http://shopmarmalade.etsy.com is made with fabrics and resin, two of my favourite materials. These little necklaces look like tiny embroidery hoops- I hope you like them as much as I do!

Spotlight on… Red Suede Kitten

I saw this shop (http://RedSuedeKitten.etsy.com) whilst browsing through the Etsy forums today. She’s quite new to the site, and is looking for her first sale *hint*. I love the tactility (is that a word?) of felt jewellery, and the use of colours and irregular circles in her work, it’s so fresh and modern! I need to save up for a bracelet (see middle pic)!
