I made these…. now what?!

There’s a ton of moss around outside since the snow, our lawn will need completely reseeding! I decided to make the best of the situation by making these cabochons, though I’m still trying to think of ways of using them!

A few people have inspired me to try some felty stuff as I’m not sure how they will work being completely see-through, as if I attach a ring finding for example you will be able to see it. I’m going to see if I can drill close to the edge without breaking them tonight.

Very inventive Kerry. You are always thinking of new ideas and being creative. You must be busting with ideas!

    Well done, Kathryn

I think they’d look pretty good with a colour foil background… like a mystic stone… then you could attach findings and wouldn’t be able to see it?

Humm, pretty things! You could attach two back to back with a band arround the centre as a lovely pendant- I have a similar thing somewhere with two bits of rock crystal and you slide a photo of a loved one between them.

Those are great! I love nature stuff. Hi Penny 🙂 I’m your owl swap partner and I am extremely tardy at introducing myself to you! I apologize about that. I popped over a while ago to ooh and aww over your wonderful jewelry hoping to get back to comment but somehow time has slipped rapidly through my fingers *grin*. I’m just putting the finishing touches on your little owl goodies and hope that you will enjoy them 🙂

very beautiful ! I love how they look, like a little drop of water with plants in them. Won’t the water in the plants make them discolor in time though ? I’m going to try some with the snow disappears.

Hi, a few plants are actually OK and keep their colour- I have buttercups from a year ago that are still yellow! Moss isn’t a particularly moist plnt so it should hold better than the buttercups 🙂
